Just out of curiosity, do you use an e-reader?  Which one? (Leave a comment!) I've been using a Kindle lately, though I do still peruse regular books.

  1. Karen,

I don't use any kind of e-reader. I just finished reading Beaufort 1849 last night and it was fabulous!!! I could not put it down. The characters were wonderful and I enjoyed it greatly!!!

  2. Kim,

I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Your comment is music to any author's ears! I see from your blogs that you are a connoisseur of all things Victorian. You have some great photos on your blog that would be helpful for anyone doing historical research involving fashion and customs in the home from that era.

I have spent some time wandering around the Charleston Museum myself trying to absorb, absorb, absorb as much detail and fine points as I could--only my time window, 1849, was much narrower. Any dress with hoop skirts, however fabulous, I had to cast out of my mind!

    Best wishes,
